Goth in the Charts Shocker
I’d say “who saw this coming?” but we certainly did. There’s been a fresh and raw post-punk movement simmering under the surface for quite a while and it was only a matter of time before an act gained breakthrough success.
A quick look at the UK Top 40 this week and you’ll see that THE SAVAGES are sitting at number 19 in the album charts, with their debut album ‘Silence Yourself’.

Icon of Coil : First UK Tour Begins in Newcastle!
Oh my. Yes…. Icon of Coil are, after all these years, doing a tour in the UK. OK, they’ve been here before – but only for festival appearances (all headline!) so it’ll be great to see them in a more intimate setting.

Cruxshadows : Return
After a VERY successful show at Legends last year (which was their first Newcastle gig since 2006!) and an amazing and well received new album (‘As the Dark Against My Halo’ – check it out ) we’re pleased to announced that The Cruxshadows will be returning this August.
What makes this a touch special is they’re only able to do 3 dates in the UK this time around, so we’re thrilled one of them...

Aesthetic Perfection return in July
We’re pleased to make a new announcement in the form of Aesthetic Perfection on July 9th in Trillians.

mesh support acts added
The two support bands for the upcoming Mesh tour, which cuts Legends in Newcastle on April 19, have been announced.
Opening the show will be Torul, from Slovenia, but perhaps most exciting will be the main support, De/Vision, who will be playing a special 25-years set.

Mesh make Newcastle debut
For the first time in their 22 year history, Bristol’s Mesh will play Newcastle as part of a tour of UK and Europe.
The show takes place on the 19th April at Legends, on Grey Street, Newcastle Upon Tyne in tour of the bands new album ‘Automation Baby’ (released later this month).
They’ve already released lead single, ‘Born to Lie’ and it’s been topping the European Alternative Charts.
